Stefanie Consolla, Ph.D

Dr. Stefanie Consolla is a licensed psychologist in Maryland who treats individuals with a wide variety of disorders and concerns. Her practice welcomes adults and adolescents. She provides psychotherapy, comprehensive assessments, and consultation services.  

Dr. Consolla creates a warm and non-judgmental environment for her therapy clients, and works with them to experience relief from the symptoms and difficulties that brought them to treatment. She believes in the importance of a therapy environment that feels safe and comfortable in order to help her clients experience true growth and healing. 

She also believes that thorough assessment and accurate diagnosis of an individual's difficulties is critical to guiding treatment and interventions and, ultimately, guiding her patients through therapy to experience real help and true relief--whether that relates to adjustment issues, life transitions, trauma, and even the most complex psychological difficulties.  Dr. Consolla also provides comprehensive psychological assessment and evaluations to children, adolescents, and adults.

The foundation of Dr. Consolla's work lies in her view that each person has a unique constellation of inner strength, resources, and talents. She works with her clients, at a comfortable pace, to access their resources and help them to live life to their fullest potential. She empowers her clients with a variety of skills to feel manage their symptoms while healing, feel calmer, work more competently, feel more harmony in relationships, and enrich their lives.
